Earlier this year, the CXL community gathered at the Santa Clara Marriott for our annual CXL Developers Conference (DevCon).

During the two-day conference, CXL Consortium Working Group Chairs hosted technical trainings on the CXL 3.X specification, provided Compliance Programs updates, discussed CXL memory pooling and expansion features, and explored the next generation of the CXL specification. Additionally, Consortium member companies provided case study examples of their CXL deployments and usage models, demonstrating the workload benefits of CXL for emerging applications. I truly enjoyed hearing about the many ways our members are utilizing CXL technology and improving their customers’ performance.

Our expanded exhibitor area was busy with activity as members Cadence, Montage Technology, Panmnesia, SMART Modular Technology, Teledyne LeCroy, VIAVI, and XConn Technologies showcased demos for memory, IP, and interoperability testing solutions. You can view the exhibitor spotlight videos HERE to see the CXL solutions shared at the event.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to our sponsors: AMD, Cadence, Montage Technology, Panmnesia, Rambus, Samsung, SmartDV, SMART Modular Technologies, Teledyne LeCroy, VIAVI, XCENA, and XConn Technologies. You are the reason we enjoyed another successful event!

For those of you who were able to attend, we hope you enjoyed all the 2025 DevCon had to offer!

If you missed this year’s event, we hope you will join us next year!

CXL Consortium members can access the presentation slides and recordings via Causeway. Additionally, if you’re not currently a member of the Consortium, I encourage you to join us today.
